My Dearest Cynthia,
It is with some trepidation that I furnish you with my contact details as it seems you did not understand or ignored the requests of my previous email. Your present situation must be terrible. The fear that overcomes you in the dark hours of the night must simply be palpable, filling the air and choking out your hope. Oh, my sweet, precious girl, how I long to wrap my protective arms around you, to shield you from the woes that have consumed you. I can hear your heart cry out from within the depths of your sorrow like a child waking from a nightmare.
Please find my contact details below. However, in order that I be more comfortable in moving forward with mt assistance, I must request that you call me as soon as possible at the number listed below. If I do not answer personally, please select to leave a message and then tell me more about yourself. I need to stress that it is important that I hear from you lest my courage to continue should wane and I find myself unable to rise to the challange.
Also, one more slight request. I was hoping you could address all further correspondences to me as: Oh Captain! My Captain! This may seem odd but this is how my late wife would address me. In the short time that I have known you, I sense a similar feeling toward you. I don’t know if you believe in reincarnation but it is as if she has come back to me in you. I would be very pleased and it would warm me so if you too would call me: Oh Captain! My Captain!
Sincerely and with the inner most pangs of my heart, I anxiously await hearing your sweet voice. Please call soon.
Your Captain,
Captain xxxx xxxx
